Product Description ?

This fuel tank is a genuine Murray replacement part. It is compatible with various models of lawn tractors. This tank contains the gasoline used to fuel the machine. The screw (part 6X111MA) and nut (part 703232) are included with this part. The tank is made of plastic and should be replaced if it is punctured or leaking. Please note the fuel cap is not included (part 92317MA).

    I missed how easily the tank was connected at the back. It was easier to get out than I thought it would be. I didn’t expect the instructions but they were helpful. Thanks for including the gas filter.

    Drain the old fuel tank and disconnect the fuel line from the tank to the carburetor.
    Remove the 2 phillips head screws from the rear of the tank.
    Remove the phillips head screw and nylok nut from the front of the tank.
    To reinstall the new tank reverse the above procedure.

    Removed the 3 screws that held old gas tank
    Removed the gas lines from old gas tank
    Installed the gas line on the new gas tank
    Installed the 3 screws that hold new tank on mower
