Pretty easy disassembly and just made sure not to lose any parts, nuts, or screws. All went well and was done in about 45 minutes. Back up and running like new. Retractable guard was broken along with a few other minor parts.

Removed blade and old parts from broken guard, installed the new retracting blade guard. It's a 2 piece plastic guard. So getting it in correct position is important for smooth operation when lowering the saw to perform a cut. The smaller portion of the guard needs to lock in position on a notch on metal housing surrounding blade and guard. Once I discovered that, it went really quick reassembling it all. Works flawlessly. I also replaced table inserts and other parts that were broken. I received all the parts I had ordered with no problems, and they were delivered in a timely manner.

Periodic bearing squeal and auto break feature did not engage.

1-Took blade off, took off screws to remove bearing assy.
2- Pried off both pressed on bearings and used vice to press on new bearings.
3- The process in line 2 is difficult and requires some knowledge in this area. (recommend buying the whole assembly for 73 dollars)
4- Screwed assembly back in.
5- For main spring, unscrewed the two set screws holding main pin and removed pin.
6- Put in new spring and reassembled.
7- Put in new switch to fix auto break function.
8- Put in new brushes which also helped the auto breaking.
