    Screwdriver, Security Screw Bit Set

    1. Unplug the machine.
    2. Remove the bottom plate of the espresso machine (you will need a T-20 security screw bit).
    3. Pull the old switch towards the bottom of the machine.
    4. Remove wires from the old switch, noting the small number next to each terminal on the switch.
    5. Attach the wires to the new switch.
    6. Slide the new switch up into its proper position.
    7. Reattach the bottom plate of the espresso maker.

    Remove the old switch by pressing on the side tabs, and pulling out the switch.
    Exchange the wires from the old switch to the new one.
    Then press the new switch back in.
