Vacuum would not go on when power switch was pushed

As with all repairs on electric devices, insure device is unplugged from the wall.
1. Opened accessory cover and took out three screws to remove the rear cover
2, After removing the cover, carefully pried the rotating switch cover out of its slot in the cover which exposed the switch.
3. Switch is held in place by spring tabs underneath; depress the spring tabs and push the switch out.
4. Pull power lines off old switch and place on same tabs on new switch.
5. Reverse procedure to reassembly; push switch into hole till tabs click, carefully bend and reinstall switch cover, reinstall and tighten cover screws.
NOTE: While inside, why not do preventive maintenance and clean motor and housing, lubricate the cord retracting wheel, and change secondary and output filters.
