Description:

Genuine Ridgid replacement part, this part is sold individually.
This Switch Key is used on the Ridgid tools listed below._b_It must be used in conjunction with the Switch part numbers 826347 & 826123 or the switch will not function.
The Switch Key is inserted into the switch, then the switch will be operational.
This is safety feature for unauthorized use of the tool.

Switch was damaged and the key destroyed

Pried the old switch out with a screwdriver and then replaced the wires in the same order onto the new switch and then pressed it back into place

The safety switch was missing

I accidentally sucked the safety switch from my Ridgid sander with my dust collector, So i could not start the machine up with out it. The piece came in the mail and took 5 sec. to replace the missing piece

Bought store model of Craftsman Drill Press but was missing the switch key.

I ordered one that looked like the part, even though it wasn't listed for Craftsman, and it works like a charm! This was the only website I could find it. I'm thrilled!

Switch failed; lost switch key

1. Removed switch cover (switch attached to cover)
2. Removed wire clip to allow a bit more slack
3. Disconnected 4 (four) spade connectors from switch terminals (after taking reference picture!)
4. Popped switch out of cover (it's a snap-in switch)
5. Reversed process!!

Upgrade to safety switch.

Pushed down tabs with clamping pliers to remove old switch. Replaced wires on new switch after popping it into place. Single pole switch replacement.
