This switch is specially designed to stop the engine when you move it to the stop position/setting. It is an authentic replacement item that is supplied from original equipment manufacturer for use with Husqvarna chainsaws. Includes one (1) switch per order.
To replace this stop switch you will need a screwdriver.
• Make sure to disconnect spark plug and drain fuel
• Remove screws from the housing
• Separate housing pieces
• Disconnect wires from the old switch
• Secure new stop switch in place
• Reconnect the wires
• Reassemble and test the new switch

had to DRILL A HOLE IN THE SAW - and put a mouting screw into the frame - TO PROVIDE A GROUND-
Ignition hot lead was broken and grounding out and stop switch ground strap broken in two.

2- Disconnect spark plug boot
3- Remove recoil starter cover and plastic flywheel/coil module cover
4- Remove hot lead wire from ignition module to coil
5- Re-route new hot lead wire and re-connect
6- Remove stop switch and ground strap screw then ground wire from module to stop switch
7- Install new stop switch with ground strap screw and re-route new ground wire from module to swatch
8-Re-install flywheel/ coil module cover and recoil starter cover
9- Remover spark plug, install boot and ground plug to engine. Pull recoil starter and check plug for spark and switch operation (on =spark; off= no spark)
10- Reinstall spark plug and boot. Re-install top cover
muffler gskt. missing, replace screws vibrated loose during use.

2. Cleaned all of the parts in solvent and used compressed air where necessary
3. Dismantled Walbro carburetor to inspect and clean
4. Reassembled carburetor installed new spark plug
5. Swapped out parts and installed the chain brake on the new clutch cover
6. Fine tuned the carburetor after warm up.
