This is an original Bissell part. This Solenoid Valve is used in many models of Bissell Carpet Cleaners. When powered, this valve allows the flow of water at the press of a button or the pull of a trigger. This part should be replaced when water will not flow or when it won’t stop flowing. When replacing the Valve, double check the condition of the Tubing (part number B-203-6819) making sure that it is free of cracks and splits.

The solenoid valve for this machine is it a 2 or 3 prong the one on the machine is a 3 and the ones I've been receiving has been a 2 though it was not ordered from you company

Most time spent was finding the problem. I didn't know exactly how the unit worked so I started taking things apart and checking switches. It wasn't until the second night that I disassembled the power unit and discovered the faulty solenoid valve. I was pleased to find that it was a common part. When the part arrived I installed it reassembled the power unit and I was back in business.
