Product Description ?

This is a genuine Bosch replacement part, it is sold individually.
The Sliding Plate (Or Graphite Pad), is what the sanding belt of the belt sander runs against on the bottom of the Belt Sander.
This part helps in keeping the surface that is being sanded level and smooth.
It is attached to the Base Plate by two screws.
If this pad gets worn or tears it should be replaced ASAP.

    Sander got too hot and parts started melting or rollers were hard to turn

    I had two belt sanders to repair. One had melted parts the other didn’t track well. Everything I replaced went smoothly. Adjusting the belt sanders with the new parts is what took the most time. Parts came in fast.

    belt sander switch broke, sliding plate worn

    1. remove 2 torx screws in handle to uncover switch
    2. pull two outgoing power wires out of friction connectors.
    3. loosen two set screws with mini screw driver to remove incoming power wires.
    4. reverse above with new switch
    5. reinstall cover

    1. remove two screws holding slider plate
    2. replace

    1.Remove sanding belt . 2. Remove old sliding plate by removing the two screws holding the plate on. 3. Install new sliding plate and replace the two screws.
