Separated halves of housing
Lifted armature assembly out of housing

The brushes were worn out. When you replace them sometimes the caps break so, that's why I get caps to.
Just remove the caps and the springs and brushes come out. I used caned air to blow out the inside good and installed the new parts. Fast an easy !

Tools Used:
Screwdriver, T 10 torx driver for case screws
Collet nut was cross threaded, could not remove the normal way
1. After removing the four torx screws that hold the case together, I carefully removed the armature from the field wiring's.
2. Then I inserted the new armature into the field wiring's and reassembled the tool. replaced the cap on the shaft end with a new one because the old one would not come off because it would not fit over the collet nut.
3. I had a good bit of trouble getting the brushes inserted into the brush springs because of the arthritis in my hands and fat fingers. I would suggest having some one with small hands assist doing this part. Also be careful you don't loose the button and spring involved in holding the armature from turning when removing the armature. It would have taken a lot less time if I didn't have so much trouble with the small parts.

This particular part was incorrect for my tool. I contacted customer service and they graciously gave me the number of the manufacturer. Once I had the correct part number I came back to these folks and let them know they had a catalog error. And they had the correct part in stock. The amazing customer service ladies took care of it from there and made everything right, and thanked me for the help. GREAT COMPANY!
