Crank seal (lower) and Head gaskets starting to leak
1 Removed engine from mower
2 Drained oil and filter
3 Replaced crank seal
4 Removed all shields
5 Remove heads , inspect and clean
6 Installed new gaskets ,torque head bolts
7 Reassemble and installed
8 New oil and filter

Seal leaking
Drill small hole in side,screw in metal screw and used claw hammer to pull out seal. Then replaced with new one

Seal had no leak, I replaced the seal after during engine repairs.
I tapped a the screw driver in the edge of the seal and lift it out.

leaking oil seal and broken dip stick
Removed some frame and muffler o get to oil seal.
ordered seal and oil stick, replaced same and re assembled machine.
Approximately 4 days down time.

Oil seal leaking
Remove mower deck and belt
Drain oil
Disconnect electrical connection for electronic clutch
Using impact wrench, remove bolt that secures the electronic clutch
Remove electronic clutch
Disconnect drive belt from pulley
Remove pulley
Drive a 3 inch deck screw into old oil seal about 1/4 inch into the seal
Using a claw hammer on the screw-head, pull out the old seal
Clean area
Press in new seal
Using PVC pipe and hammer, tap the new seal in place - not too far or it will cover the oil return hole in the motor
Reinstall pulley
Reconnect drive belt
Reinstall electronic clutch
Reconnect electrical connection for electronic clutch
Add oil
Reinstall mower deck
Good to go.

Crankshaft oil seal leaking
1. Removed the hood, sheet metal side panels, mounting frames and muffler
2. Removed the PTO drive vbelt pulley from crankshaft
3. Drilled two 1/8” holes in old seal 180 degrees apart
4. Screwed in small sheet metal screws in holes
5. Using auto body dent puller to grip the screws, gently bumped the old seal out
6. Lubed the new seal with motor oil
7. Tapped the new seal to start it in place.
8. Used a piece of 2-1/2” PVC pipe to tap seal in place
9. Reassembled pulley, belts, muffler, frame, and hood
