This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement screw. It is commonly used with electric drills. This left hand threaded screw is specially designed to secure drill chuck to the spindle. 2. Main spindle had gear on it that had to be pulled off.
3. Used a three arm puller to remove gear.
4. New part had to be pressed on. There was a key that had to be lined up. I hammered it on using a vise as a support.
5. Put grease on new spindle and put head back on drill body.
6. I turned on chuck and put left hand screw in bottom of chuck. I torqued it down using my impact driver.
7. Tried it. Everything worked as it should.
