Will Part Number RS-DW0128 fit my DW5080, it looks like it's for the DW5080U1 but I am not sure what the difference is when "U1" is added to model#.

My iron sometimes will not come on. If I move the cord a little then it comes on. I must do this several times while ironing. Will replacing the cord help this?
