Question: 34118154G

1164176

I bought this part and it doesn't fit. The out board shaft is longer and has only 1 flat. The sprocket doesn't fit. I see in previous posts that a 33902102-1G sprocket resolves the problem. Does it?

I ordered the new sprocket, it fit the ring gear. Put things back together. Now there is a misalignment problem because the shaft on the new ring gear is longer the sprocket is doesn't line up with the bar. The chain. This shouldn't be so difficult. If the flat on the ring gear was a bit longer and retainer ring slot moved, this thing would work. What do I do next?

Question: Ring Gear

i used the original part # and everything was good till i tried to put the drive gear on, old part had two slotted sides on ring gear shaft, new on only has one slot. Look at pictures of a new drive gear and it's double slotted not sure what's going on with the part numbers

Hello scrappy78,

It looks as if the manufacture has had an engineering design and not communicating very well with their distributors. You can fix your problem by ordering part number 33902102-1G sprocket.
It has one flat side on it so it will slip right on.

Hope this helps,

I have the same problem and I ordered the sprocket to go with it. The new sprocket does fit the new ring gear shaft but the shaft is 3/8 " longer than the old shaft. Which means the chain will not line up running from the bar to the sprocket. Now what?

Question: 14" Homelite Chainsaw

This part does NOT fit the UT43100. Ordered this part and it does not fit, middle shaft is too long. Original part is 34118154. This part has a G on the end of it and doesn't work.
