Bolts on front of pump broke, complete loss of pressure, water spraying all over the place!

Adjustable Wrench, allen wrench, pry bar , vise

Remove pump from machine by removing 4 allen head bolts. The pump should slide off the engine at that point. My was a little corroded on the shaft, so I had to pry it off. I had to switch my snap on hose connector from the new old one to the new one, that's where I had to use the vise. I have a bad wrist, most people could probably do it with 2 wrenches. Then you just slide the new pump onto the engine shaft, and put the bolts back in. You also pull off the hose for the detergent and push it back on.

I found your video on You Tube. Even though it's not the same exact pump. You remove it and install it the same way. Note the new pump does not include a thermal relief. This is the video.

Pump froze up and no water would release through it

    Pressure Washer

    Difficulty

    Medium

    Time

    1-2 hours

    Tools Used

Power Drill, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, 2 pry bars

Removed 4 Allen bolts holding the pump. Removed the old pump by carefully prying it off the shaft evenly so as not to snap the engine shaft. Cleaned and greased the shaft and slid on the new pump and secured it with the 4 bolts.
The engine and pump had to run almost 30min for the pressure to come up to old pump levels. I was not sure if I was going to get up to full pressure at first. But after running awhile it did come up and so far I am very happy with my repair and at least $200 richer for not having to buy a whole new pressure washer. Thanks
