Screwdriver, Pliers, Power Drill, Socket set, New 5 foot section of starter rope. (hardware store)
Make sure you have;
spline screwdrivers
13/16 socket
Drill two holes in the fan so you can hold it in place while taking off the shaft nut
Clean all parts before assembly
Follow arrow as to the direction to wind the new rope
