Worn out parts, and bearings in pulley are worn

1. For the bracket clutch anti-rotation remove bolt from bracket and remove from electric clutch by pulling it out of the hole in clutch and through the frame. Replace in reverse order.

2. For the pulley remove the belt from electric clutch pulley by releasing belt tension lever on left side of deck remove, then unscrew the bolt in pulley, and remove pulley. Replace in reverse order.

3. For the wheel gauge remove the bolt with a wrench and socket replace in reverse order.

My oem pulley seized and broke from the tension of the belt running over it.

I had to raise the mower to access the bolt from the bottom. The only problem I had was to secure the nut on the top side of the pulley which you can't use your other arm because there isn't access to the nut and the bolt for one person although I did manage to wedge a wrench in to hold the nut while I used the impact wrench from below. Now this disassembled fine using this method but there was no way that I could re-install the new pulley without assistance due to the fact that the factory uses lock nuts. Other than that it was a pretty easy install. Good luck.

Removed deck, then removed and replaced idler pulley's. Removed lift lever and replaced.

Mandrel started wobbling very bad, upper supporters bearing gave out

1 raised the mower deck
2 while holding blade with gloved hand removed upper nut with socket and 18” breaker bar
3 removed upper drive pulley and shaft with blade still attached
4 removed the four bolts holding the mandrel, all four bolts broke off when trying to remove them, common with all mowers, new bolts come with new mandrel
5 pre thread the four self tapping bolts into the mandrel, remove the bolts install the mandrel, drive pulley and belt. All done!

hit rock, bent blade, and broke a mandrel.. Replaced all lower pulleys. But now I need a starter for a INTEK w/ XRD 20 20

Removed the old pulleys, and then put the new ones on. But it won't start now, won't turn over even with a new battery.

Bearings in the idler pulley and the mandrel assembly were bad.

Removed the mower deck from the tractor.
Removed the blade from the mandrel assembly.
Removed the mounting screws from the mandrel assembly and removed it.
Removed the pulley from the mandrel assembly.
Mounted the pulley on the new mandrel assembly and torqued the nut.
Installed the mandrel assembly.
Installed the blade on the mandrel assembly.
Removed the idler pulley and installed the new one.
Put the belt in place.
Put the mower deck under the tractor and reinstalled it.
