Pressure switch was damaged
1.Removed power cord from pressure switch.
2.Disconnected air line from pressure switch.
3.Unscrewed pressure switch from air tank.
4.Applied Teflon tape to threads of new pressure switch.
5.Screwed on new pressure switch to the same position as the old pressure switch.
6.Reconnected the air line to the pressure switch.
7.Reinstalled the power cord.
8.Plugged in compressor.
9.Turned on compressor and let it turn off at preset pressure setting.
10.Checked for air leaks around airline connection and around pressure switch threads at tank with soapy water.

3.Unscrewed pressure switch from air tank.
4.Applied Teflon tape to threads of new pressure switch.
5.Screwed on new pressure switch to the same position as the old pressure switch.
6.Reconnected the air line to the pressure switch.
7.Reinstalled the power cord.
8.Plugged in compressor.
9.Turned on compressor and let it turn off at preset pressure setting.
10.Checked for air leaks around airline connection and around pressure switch threads at tank with soapy water.
