I removed the old handles and replaced them with the new ones . It was just 1 screw for each handle. I removed the old seal and pressure plug ( it just popped out) and replaced the seal and popped in the new plug. My at least 50 year old pressure cooker works like a dream. I can remember my mother using it when I was very little. They sure don't make things like they use to.
