    1. Remove screws to allow the case to open.
    2. Loosen screws holding in 3 old wires. Green, white, and black. The original has ring connectors, so you have to take the screws all the way out.
    3. I saved the original boot on the original wire, so I removed that.
    4. Strip new wires about 1/4 inch. I placed spade connectors on the new wires.
    5. Place original boot on new wire. I used electrical tape to wrap around all 3 new wires to make leading through the boot easier. Remove once wires are through boot.
    6. Start the screws that hold the spades in place. Connect the wires to their respective places and tighten screws. Bend the connectors slightly to match the tight contours of the saw.
    7. Realign the plastic pieces that make up the case and replace all screws that hold the saw together. Be careful not to pinch any of the new wires with the case as you put it back together.
