I was using my power washer and it was successfully dispensing soap. I turned the machine off for about 45 minutes, and rolled it to a different location by my house. After that, no soap wo;uld dispense with the low pressure nozzle or any nozzle. I do not understand this. The chemical hose is not clogged. I ran a thin wire into the nipple that dispenses soap, it did not appear clogged. Please advise. Thanks.
Interesting Mike as I just washed the house and the same thing happened to me. Worked well last year but this year, it won't pick up the Zep siding liquid. I checked the filter and inside the pump and all looks clean - no corrosion.
The pressure looks fine but I want to get the cleaner on the house first.

A little slow on the uptake but I got it! First, take the filter off and blow through the hose. If you can, the problem lies elsewhere. If you can't, remove the barbed fitting (10mm) carefully as inside is a ball and light spring. The ball may be slightly corroded causing it to stick and the check valve not open.

pump conversion Question by keith
Can I change my cold water pump on a porter cable power washer to a accept hot water?
I forgot to blow out the water in the unit before winter. Now the copper body part has a slit in it that water is spraying out of. What is the name of this part? If I order it can I replace it myself.
