A spark plug is used to deliver electric current to the internal combustion engine. Over time spark plugs tend to become dirty or fouled eventually requiring replacement. The spark plug gap should be set in accordance with the owners manual of the outdoor product you have. You will need a spark plug wrench or a socket wrench to remove or install the spark plug.
