    1. Removed the cover and the end cone.
    2. Removed the old bearing.
    3. Cleaned the old parts that were reused.
    4. Assembled with the new bearing, the seal and the blade guide.
    5. Packed with new grease.

    Bracket assembly fell apart

    1. Remove broken foot and screw
    2. Hold down the bracket
    3. Clean the foot assembly
    4. Install the new foot and screw
    5. Hold down the bracket then position saw properly in tool and test.

    The project was a used Milwaukee Sawzall I purchased for $6 missing the parts I bought below.
    I stripped, cleaned and lubed it and surfaced the commutator with fine emery cloth.

    I mounted the blade clamp and secured it with the provided screw.
    I affixed the pivot shoe assembly with screws I provided, as the 10-24 X 1/2" Pan HD.

    Loosen the screws on the sides of the housing and pull out the old pivot shoe. Slide the new shoe in and tighten the screws.

    Installed a new boot by sliding it over the gear case. I then replaced the blade clamp by screwing it to the blade shaft. Replace the shoe by screwing two screws into the gear housing and slid it in and tightening the screws with the the hex key. Lastly I removed the brush caps and brush springs and replace the worn brushes. It's like having a new sawzall. The parts arrived promptly, and were easy to install. Thanks,

    Very simple pull the rubber shoe off the front and take out 4 hex head screws that holes the pivot assembly and replace. Did not have to pull rubber shoe off just made it easy to get the screws.
