It is an authentic item which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Black and Decker, DeWALT and Porter Cable sanders. The paper punch is designed to perforate a standard sandpaper when using the sander with a dust collection system. The holes will allow the dust to be picked up from the work surface. It is a high-quality replacement for a damaged or a missing component that was included with a new unit. Using it does not require any tools, once the sandpaper is installed, align the corners of the paper punch with the corners of the sanding pad and press the paper punch through the sandpaper sheet. One durable plastic paper punch is included.

1. Make sure sander is not plugged in
2. Remove old sandpaper and replace with new sandpaper
3. Line up corner edges of punch with edge of sander and press down.
4. Pull paper punch off and plug took back in.
