The hooks of the sander pad engage into the soft fabric loops of sandpaper safely securing the parts together. This durable plastic pad is sold individually, please note the hardware to secure it is sold separately.

9/16" open-ended or 15 mm wrench to remove the old pad. The new pad includes the threaded stud, so it is a simple matter to screw the new pad in place, no tool required.

cord insulation degraded pad was wore

opened the switch housing, was disappointed the new cord didn't have the connectors installed but took the originals off and soldered them to the new cord. unscrewed the old pad and replaced with the new. very easy fix.
