I took the nail gun apart to diagnose the problem and identify the faulty part. Then I visited your website and was able to easily find the exploded diagram/schematic for my tool. I ordered the specific parts needed by item number, recieved everything a few days later, and had my nailgun back together in about 10 minutes. Field tested it the next day.
This is not the first time I have orderd parts successfully from your website and being a professional tradesman, it certainly will not be the last. You offer a great service.

I found that the air valve was sticking due to hardened o-rings. I really just needed to two smallest ones on the trigger stem but I bought all of the seals for the valve since I was there. Porter Cable model DA250A.

Everyone said top bumper causes the problem. The bumper was shot so I replaced it. Still did the same thing. Messing with it I found that if I pulled on the trigger pin just a little bit it would let go and retract the driver. I pulled the trigger assembly out and started messing around with it. No luck. However I now noticed a slight air leak at the trigger. I purchased all new O rings and trigger pin and spring. Installed and WahLah. it works. Thanks for your help with parts. Have referred U to friends.

Nailer won't fire, only leaked air while the trigger was depressed in the trigger area

    Tool Type

    Nailer

    Difficulty

    Easy

    Time

    30-60 minutes

    Tools Used

Socket set, Wrench Set, Dental Pick

Disassembled the trigger and then removed the trigger valve from the body of the gun using a socket. I replaced all of the O-rings in the trigger area and lubricated them with the oil that comes with the gun. I then reassembled the valve and screwed it back into the gun body. I reassembled the trigger making sure that the safety worked as it is designed to. The gun worked properly after the repair and continues to at this point. I am satisfied that the O-rings were the cause of the problem.
