Description:
This is a Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part designed for Hitachi Hammer Drills. This O-Ring provides an Air-Tight Seal for the Piston. Over time this O-Ring will shrink, become brittle and crack allowing for air leaks. At that time it should be replaced.

Replacing this item you would need Hex Key/Allen Wrench and Pliers to replace this item.

The hammer drill would not hammer
After installing the new parts the hammer drill still did not hammer.
I called a technician who advised me that excess grease would stop the hammer function. I removed the excess grease and Walla! It hammers now!

Rotohammer was no longer hitting - broken connecting rod
1, Removed access covers
2. Remove hammer/drill selector lever
3. Remove front end and internals from housing back to the piston crank
4. Install piston on connecting rod using new wrist pin and O-ring
5. Install front end internals into front housing being careful to insert piston in barrel
6. Install hammer/drill selector lever
7. Add grease
8. Install access covers and test unit

Remove the top cap, replace head valve to solve problem, replace o-rings to avoid any leaks. Cleaned and oiled the internal parts.
