I loosened the screws on the head of the Hitachi finish nailer and tapped the head up side down and the driver came out . I then put some oil on the new piston, and slid it down into the cylinder . I then put the head gasket and the head on and put the screws back in and tighten them down

Remove the top cap, replace head valve to solve problem, replace o-rings to avoid any leaks. Cleaned and oiled the internal parts.
