The connection held on by screws broke causing the saw to break in half.
Took the clamshell and motor housing apart. Disconnected the trigger from motor housing. Unscrewed the guard bracket and slid the cover off. Unscrewed the motor housing. Slid housing off and put on new parts in reverse order. Works like new.
