I took the cover off removed the retaining screw for the squirrel cage fan, pulled the old fan off and replaced it with the new fan. I used the original screw but replaced the washer.

Plastic Blower fan stripped out and broken

Removed housing and repaired supply line that had been caught by the broken fan cage. Replaced broken fan and reassembled.
