My $250 Makita power tool gets used a lot and I was not happy with the thought of spending that money again. EreplacementParts.com was the answer costing only 1 tenth the price.
By removing the ten fastening screws and opening the tool case I was able to remove the motor and replace it in 5 minuets. I have my impact back in service now.
