motor stopped working after 11 years of hard use
Removed old motor-had to cut wires to it as they were soldered.I cleaned the carbon and grease of of the control PCB. While waiting for the new motor I took the gear box apart and cleaned and greased it.
The new motor goes onto the gear box with a simple twist the wires have to be soldered on. Installed gear/motor assembly routed wires so they had clearance.Installed the the case and reversing switch carefully screwed assembly together and tested.
I now have a new motor in my drill and it is working like a new drill.

  • It works now...
... and was exactly what I ordered. I beat out of my Milwawkee 12V drill/driver, and this motor is what it took to get it working again. I guess driving 3/8" x 3 1/2" lag bolts into framing lumber was a bit too much for it. Should have known better. Thanks, eReplacements, great service/delivery/price, great web site...
