  • Ryobi circular saw replacement motor
They had what I needed to fix my cordless skil saw. It was fast shipping and reasonable price and the saw cuts better than it did when it was new.

    Worked great as expected
Part fit as expected was far cheaper than buying a new saw

    Worked great. Reasonably easy.
This saw cut a lot over the last year. Knew I shouldn’t have but was ripping pressure treated 2x6’s and smoked the motor. Was going to toss the saw and buy a new one but decided to check ereplacementparts just to see if a motor was available as I have purchased appliance parts before. Always find what I need at fair prices. The motor arrived very quickly. Half an hour later my saw was running like new. You might be able to crimp wire connectors on if you don’t have a soldering gun but I soldered the wires back as the factory one. Relatively easy repair and saved purchasing new saw. The motor seems to fit a lot of the Ryobi tools so I plan to order another one to keep in case needed for one of my other tools from the kit. Highly recommend this part and ereplacementparts.

The worst service I have ever experienced I will never purchase from you again and never recommend your co. I reordered from a competent co.and received my order in one week.

My circular saw's motor burned out while cutting some pressure treated 2" x 8"s. The saw was only about a year old. I decided to take it apart and see how difficult it was to get the motor out. Since it was an easy fix, I decided to look up the part number and eReplacements.com had the part for a very reasonable price. I ordered the part and made the swap once I received it. The only thing that made the repair take twice as long to complete was having to solder the wires on to the new motor, but that went smoothly. My circular saw now works better than ever. I have used eReplacements.com in the past for other replacement parts for other tools and equipment and everything went fine and works perfectly. Thank you eReplacements.com for coming to the rescue once again!

    Motor brushes burned out

    Time

    15-30 minutes

    Tools Used

Followed excellent instructions from top rated repair story.
A couple of points not covered there:
The Ryobi saw housing has one screw deeply sunk in its access hole and requires a 2" or longer insert bit for a power driver; a short one can't reach the screw head.
Take note of the orientation of the motor in its mounting (not just the red and black wire connection locations). The wires need to go back in their original orientation for the cover to fit properly, even though the motor mounts equally well in either orientation.
You will want a small soldering iron to unsolder and resolder the wires on the motor.
