  • outstanding service
I am a first time purchaser and a do it yourself handyman. I purchased this tool at a yard sale even though it did not work. Your online catalog was outstanding, the ability to see the part allowed me to confirm what I needed. The only less than outstanding service was the standard shipping time. I know I selected it ( primarily for cost) but the time length of shipment I felt was quite poor; and not up to your standards. However your diagram of how to repair even allowed this would be, fumbling repairman to do the job. I would not hesitate to order anything from you. Randy Hutton

Removed the case screws, lifted up the motor, removed the solder from the wires and removed the motor. Put in the new motor re-soldering the wires. Spent a great deal of time figuring out how the gear shift and torque control functioned. A spring loaded ball bearing required getting a new one from the hardware store as the first one sprung out and I couldn't find it! The drill works like new except the motor gear slightly whines. This repair was much cheaper than a new drill.
