Does this part include a portion of the pull chain. The picture doesn't show the short portion of the pull chain coming out of the bottom of the part which wouldn't work without it.

Hi. Do you know if this part will fit Hunter 20763? It's identical, but the housing it connects to does have two wholes where I can imagine this fixture would screw in. Thanks!

The pull chain for the light in my ceiling fan wouldn’t “pull”
After lots of research and not being able to get the part from the Hunter Fan company I got the replacement “light kit” from ereplacementParts. I unscrewed the old kit, I had to detach two wires which I was concerned about at first but they fit together and came apart very easily. I screwed in the new kit, threaded the wires thru the hole and reattached them (I made sure to note where the originals went to) Then I reassembled the rest of the light and voila!

Light pull switch was not functioning.
Turned off the electricity from fan. Removed light bowl. Removed two screws from light bracket.
Pulled down on the light bracket to expose the two wire leads (WHITE, BLACK) and unplugged them. Plunged in new assembly. push the wires back into the housing. Reattached the light assembly with two screws. Had to adjust the pull switch length to accommodate the nut assembly to hold the light bowl tight. I went from a 3-light unit to a 2-light unit.

Hunter Ceiling fan light socket replacement
This part from eReplacement Parts was the best way to go. It's a matter of removing 2 screws and disconnecting 2 wires. I'd recommend this part if pull chain goes bad because wire between socket and pull chain part ends up being very short after removing. For the cost this is the best way to go. I'll order from this company again

Exact part, timely transaction
The fan I bought from the store must have been someone else's return - someone cut the wires and took out the switch for the light, on this assembly.
Found this assembly quickly and easily. It was in stock. Order was confirmed by next business day. Reasonable shipping, good price. Thanks!
