Remove the carburetor cover. Pull the old lever off with pliers, line up the new lever, then simply press in on. Replace the carburetor cover.

Remove the air cleaner housing, by hand, no tools needed, and simple press the choke lever on to the d shaped choke shaft, now replace the air cleaner housing, it snaps on. Done!

I removed the choke/run guard, removed the broken stem of the old lever and pressed on the new one. It took me about 3 minutes.

Popped off the air filter housing, pulled off what was left of the old choke lever. Oriented and pressed on new choke lever. Replaced air filter housing. Followed starting instructions on the machine and it fired and ran.

Pulled off the air filter cover, replaced air filter, then pried off the broken choke lever and slid new one in place. Replaced spark plug. Super easy and well worth doing. Runs much better now and easier to start.
