Removed the old one.
Found out the new one slightly smaller, had to obtain or purchase slightly smaller diameter screws so that they can fit through the existing holes in the new latch.
Tightened them and worked.

My latch to hold treadmill up, broke on one side. Very unstable.

You just remove the old/ broken latch from treadmill with a screw driver.
You must remove a little metal piece that holds the spring and the pulley to keep your treadmill lifted up. Then you just put the pieces back on the same way you taken off on the new latch.
Once it's on you just screw it back on.
Then test it to make sure it is secure.
Then your ready to use.

I took off the broken latch & installed the new one. Took less than 5 minutes. Part arrived quickly, and I really appreciate the way I was able to look at a diagram of my model and actually "See" the part I needed to replace; because, I wasn't sure what it was called. I will use this company in the future for all my replacement part needs. In addition, the part and the shipping cost was very reasonable, much less than other sellers.

1. Removed old cracked latch housing with Phillips screwdriver.
2. Inserted the latch piston (for lack of the right word right now).
3. Reinstalled the latch housing with Phillips screwdriver.
4. Done in less than 5 minutes - very easy!
