Easy 15-30 minutes (1 rated repairs)?

Washer did not start, just hummed for a short while then quit. I could start it sometimes by turning it on and manually spinning the fan but proved unreliable.

Tools Used

Screwdriver, Power Drill

1. After unscrewing the water line, and while alternately standing the washer up and lying the washer face down, removed all of the housing screws.
2. Removed the top part that holds the small tank in place.
3. Removed the front housing while lying the washer on its back.
4. Removed the four screws holding the engine/pump to the back side/housing.
5. Lifted the engine/pump up, pulled out the bad capacitor and replaced with the new one.
6. Pushed and pulled on the rubberized seal on the capacitor.
7. Reassembled it all, ensuring not to pinch the clear tube from the small tank.
8. Connected the garden hose, turned it on the usual way and it worked!
