Take the lathe up to maximum speed so the motor pulleys close, Pull the c-clamp keeper off the end of the motor shaft, remove the sleeve and spring, slide the pulleys off the motor shaft and remove the key-way on the motor shaft.
Place the new key-way in the slot on the motor shaft, slide the new pulleys onto the motor shaft, making sure the slots line up on the key-way, replace the spring and sleeve. Depress the spring slightly and replace the c-clamp on the end of the motor shaft. Replace the belt and check that the pulleys are sliding smoothly along the motor shaft... you\'re ready to go.
