This replacement insulator is a high quality OEM sourced item that is specially designed for Milwaukee reciprocating saws. This is the front housing of the the unit which is attached to the gearcase assembly which is sold separately. Pleas note this insulator is made from durable plastic and it is sold individually. Replacing it is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver set.

Insulator boot was loose and slipping toward end of saw while in use. One torx screw missing T-25

Removed old boot, slid new one into place. Removed remaining screw and used two new with Loctite so the vibration wouldn't loosen them again. Saw is back in use and working just fine. Cutting inner skin 6 times, of a 140' x 18' wall.
