I have the same issue as jone531. Is there a resolution to this problem?

I have a Ryobi SS30 trimmer , model RY30040B , ign coil was shot no spark , so I ordered 850080001 , installed it at .010 air gap from magneto to coil , removed kill switch ground wires in case there's a short , and installed a new plug gapped to .025... Still no spark , tried 2 additional plugs, same issue...still no spark. Tried it with a spark tester, same issue, So I called ereplacement parts, ya'll sent me another coil, same issue , Is there a defect issue on these coils? Thank you , Andrew Jones , link removed
