Identify Your Ice-O-Matic Model
Look for a serial tag located on the back of the unit first. As a general rule a serial tag is located on the back of the unit where you will be able to obtain the information that you need.
If you own a modular machine, such as the C-186, then you’ll find the serial plate behind the front panel on the right, below the access ports.
For under-the-counter machines, check behind the front panel at the base of the cabinet, or on the control box cover.
Here are a few examples of what the model number looks like:
Bins: B40, B100, CRT125.
Condensers: VRC1001, VRC2661.
Cubers: C-106, C-45, EC-1005, EUC-150, ICE-1405, GC-555.
Dispensers: CD-210, EFD-270, GEMD-270, IOD-250.
Flakers: EF-250, EMF-1106, MFI-1256.
Pearl ice makers: GEM-0450, MFI-2406.

The warranties for the products vary depending on the machine, but most of the warranties do cover both parts and labor for a minimum of two years, and a few for three. They also offer a 7-year warranty, which is the best in the business, if you purchase a new filter along with a new cube ice machine, and then remember to replace the filter every 6 months. Keep in mind that you do need to register you ice machines and/or water filters in order to qualify for any of their warranties.
