There is a gap when put into the grill. Either the gap is in the center or to the sides if I move the part together in the center.

Pulled up the original IR grates and grills. Used a hammer to tap/loosen the grills from the wore out grates. Less than 5 min.and I was back in business curing the new grates. Thanks again for a great product.

Removed the cooking grill above the grate and took out the rusted grate and through it into the trash can
Put in the new grate and then the cooking grill on top slid into place.
Repeated the same procedure for the second grate.
Repair finished!
