Gun has no leaks but fires slow, wont allow quick follow up shots like the piston is sticking. Any ideas? thanks

Hitachi NR83A Framing Nailer - piston return issue

The piston driver on my tool does not retract like it should when bump firing the tool. It hangs up until I release the trigger, then retracts as norma. It acts like a sequential fire tool. Something weird in the exhaust system? Any ideas? I just cleaned the tool and replaced all rings and packings. Thanks, Mike....
