How do I know which position that the knob is in when it doesn't have the knob on it. How do I know like how it's supposed to be so I want to make sure it's off.

Is there a replacement for Chant 11409 regulator?

Hello Doug, ;thank you for your question. Using the model MH9B, there is a part 11410 that says The regulator 11" wc Precimex is constructed of metal and plastic components. This part is compatible with the MH9B Heater. This part is fitted between the inside frame and the regulation hold down. The regulator helps to keep heater lit and maintain consistent heat pressure. This item is sold individually. A screwdriver and an adjustable wrench are needed in the removal and replacement. We hope this helps!

Heater will not stay ignited after it is initially lit.

Hi Charlscie, Thank you for your question. If your heater lights for about a minute and then shuts off, the pilot orifice may be clogged with a buildup of carbon. A buildup of carbon can restrict the flow of gas and prevent the pilot heating up the thermocouple. It is important to clean the pilot orifice on a regular basis. We hope this helps!
