This is an authentic manufacturer approved replacement part designed for use with Ryobi handheld string trimmers. In conjunction with a nut it is used to secure the auxiliary handle to the shaft. This knob is made from durable plastic with a threaded metal shaft and it is sold individually.

    Just basically took off the old knob screw. Removed the nut with pliers. Then replaced the new knob screw into the handle and used pliers to tighten the nut. Super easy.

    Removed the old parts. Placed the clamp around the shaft put the handle in the clamp, then tightened up the knob into the nut
