Tested to see if power was going thru the power cord, then the switch.
Then to make sure the switch was bad, I bypassed the switch and put power to the motor, the drill was secured. The motor spun.
    Replaced the bad switch
Replaced the the brushes, just because I had the drill open and due to its age.
    I cleaned the armature.
    I regreased the bearings.
    Put the unit back together.
Retested the drill again to if turned on, it did.
    Job done.

The drill was an older style drill so I ordered the switch and the the updated handle cover.
Removed the old handle cover, then made a wiring diagram of the switch wires.
Removed the old switch and installed the new one.
    Install the new handle cover.
Now it works like new again.
