Actual identical replacement part
The aluminum handle on my Hitachi electric shovel/jackhammer broke off and was hanging by the switch wire. This was an easy DIY fix. I’m so glad to have my tool back.

Broken handle

Remove broken handle. Remove switch and cord and cord clamp. The cord does not include the terminals, you may want to order them. To be safe you can make a wiring diagram of the switch. Reconnect all the wires to the switch. Put the cord clamp back on. Do not forget to put the cord protector on the cord like I did. Attach switch, make sure the wires are all out of the way. Now you can put the new handle on.

Pretty straight forward, remove the screws from the handle. Take a picture of how the parts are located in the handle. Install all of the parts in the new handle. Then install it on the hammer.
