    Tool Type

    Impact Driver

    Difficulty

    Medium

    Time

    15-30 minutes

    Tools Used

, torx driver and soldiering iron

    1. Disassembled handle to get to brushes
    2. Removed brush holder and trigger assembly
    3. Unsoldered brushes from trigger and soldered new assembly in place.
    4. While apart replaced grip assembly with new part
    5. Assembled and retested
    6. Works and now looks as good as new.
    7. I would recommend anyone not comfortable with soldering buy the brush and trigger as a complete assembly and would simply be remove and replace. The prices are better here than anywhere else I have found and are genuine factory replacement
