Trimmer safety guard replacement
Received the safety guard and read the instructions to install it on this site. Guard was the same size as the broken one and fit perfectly on my 15 year old electric weed trimmer. Simple to replace with 4 screws and had to remove a “lock ring” that needed a small wrench & hand wratchet & socket. Took about 15 minutes to complete the repair. Perfect!

This guard I feel is very well made and if it last as long as the first one I will be pleased.

Received exact replacement for my years-old broken one. Having never installed one, I found that the circular "upper clamp" surrounding the shaft had to be carefully removed. After that, it was a matter of slipping on the guard assembly and bolting it down. Ingenious. Price was good, safe packaging, prompt delivery in time for next lawn mowing event. The description for the Guard and Blade Assembly I ordered stated that it included the Anti-Vibration Screw and Upper Clamp Assembly when listed in the exploded view parts list. However when you click on the the Guard and Blade Assembly part number it does not show it as coming with those additional parts. I went by the exploded view description and ordered believing that I was getting the Clamp and Screw with the Guard Blade, I did not. So I called customer service and discovered the discrepancy between the two descriptions. I had to place another order for the Anti-Vibration Screw to complete my repair.

1. Removed screws holding old guard and reinstalled. Had to loosen and slide the clamp holdng the trimmer head first, then put back in place after installing the new guard.
