Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set

From the acces panel on top (two screws)disconnect the steering shaft from the gear (one bolt). From below the deck remove two nuts from front (in front of axle) of mower and two screws from under the deck facing the front(on back of front axle). One bolt to disconnect steering arm, then drops down swap assembly out. ***NOTE: the discontinued bushing can be replaced with the spindle bearing. A plastic spacer. It will need to be shortened to allow for the cotton pin in the gear.
